This is our mantra. We of the Saint Stupid Tribe know that Had we ever thought about it.... ummm.... I forgot.... I knew there was a point. I will wait for the 7 second turn around and see what happens. Oh, there we are, I was saying that Had we ever thought about it we might have done things differently, but we didn't. Homer Simpson puts it well, "Dough!". Years ago I was blessed to receive a button with a picture of our Patron Saint on it. Ofcourse I lost it in the driveway, but I did find it later, after I had driven over it many times and it had been rained on and rusted..... but "

We shall reak havoc and unfurl frivolity to our hearts content! We can gather with the other fools and sing all the stupid songs we can remember or even if we can't really remember.

Did I want to tip the gas attendant $7.00?

Well, today was one of those days where I had too much to do, too little sleep, and even less precense of mind. I go to the gas station, prepay for the gas with a $20 and a $10. ($30)
I pump the gas, wash the windshields, plot how to get across 4 lanes of traffic to use the restroom, ect. Now the gas is done pumping, I check the total which is $23. something, and say to myself 'self, don't forget your change'.
Now, it's hours later, I'm 300 miles away, and suddenly I go "I don't think I ever went in the get my change."But the paper money in my purse is all a jumble. No way to tell if I got it or not, and even if I didn't, I'm not going to use a tank and a half driving back to try to get it. I had it when I do boneheaded things.

UPS~Stupid is as stupid does

Two days ago UPS leaves a notice that they tried to deliver a package. But it's for a previous tenant that moved out over a year ago. So I leave the notice on the door the next day with a note saying 'this person moved over a year ago." Today I get a postcard from UPS addressed to this person saying basically, "We couldn't deliver your package because you don't live here, so would you please come down and get it."
